Ⅰ Introduction
Dayu Young Scholar Forum, held by China Agricultural University (CAU), aims at helping CAU achieve the development objective of Double First Class. It will focus on international academic frontiers and gather prominent talents with great academic achievements and potential of innovation and development. A platform for academic communication and in-depth discussion will be built.

Ⅱ Qualifications
Scholars with intention should meet at least one of the following two.
1. Selected ones of the Recruitment Program for Young Professional, National Program for Support of Top-notch Young Professionals, Young Program of Yangtze River Scholars, Excellent Young Scientists Fund and other outstanding young scholars with equivalent ability.
2. Satisfy the qualifications of the Thousand Talents Plan. Outstanding young scholars under the age of 40, shall possess a PHD degree granted by prestigious universities at home and abroad. Have at least two-year work experience abroad (those who possessed a PHD degree from abroad with exceptional academic achievements may be exempt from the work experience requirement), and hold formal teaching and researching positions in overseas prestigious universities, institutions or enterprises. For those who are already back in China, they should be within one year of their return.
For eligible scholars, the intention agreement will be signed during the forum.

Ⅲ Application
E-mail the application form (Attachment 1) and supporting materials (Attachment 2) to the colleges in forms of zip files or rar files. The titles of files and e-mail should be “Name + Name of the college applied for + Forum for Young Scholars”. Please e-mail before the deadline- November 17, 2017.
Invitation letters to the forum will be sent to qualified candidates before November 30.

Ⅴ Travel Reimbursement and Accommodation
Accommodation from Dec. 27th to Dec. 29th is free. Please book your economy-class flights after you receive invitation. CAU will provide the reimbursement of travel expenses (highest 20,000 yuan per person for overseas scholars, while 5,000 yuan for domestic scholars).

Ⅶ About CAU
As one of the 211 Project and 985 Project universities, China Agricultural University is at the forefront of Chinese modern and advanced agricultural education, originating as the Imperial Agricultural University in 1905. Ⅷ Reimbursement & Benefit
For scholars involved in the Thousand Talents Plan：Appointed as professors with pre-tax annual salary 350,000yuan (merit pay not included). 3 to 4 million yuan are provided as start-up funding for researches. An apartment is available.
For young outstanding scholars: Appointed as professors or vice professors with pre-tax annual salary 300,000yuan (merit pay not included). A certain sum of start-up funding for researches are provided. Monthly housing allowance is 5,000yuan before tax.
