China Agriculture University conducts extensive international exchange programs. We are trying our best to make ourselves into a comprehensive university.

CAU has cooperative programs with 207 universities in 44 countries, such as United States, Canada, Germany, Britain, Netherlands, Norway, Denmark, Japan, Korea, Australia, Russia, Israel, Ivory Coast, Guinea and etc. In recent years, CAU focus on the cooperation with many top international universities, and has successfully made partnership with Purdue University in the United States, Wageningen University in Netherlands and many others. We have undergraduate programs, exchange programs, international master programs and series of international education cooperation projects. Meanwhile we have established research centers with many high-level universities, and put special fund to support research projects.

CAU has always been committed to serving China’s foreign aid strategy and policies of China’s foreign service. We always carry out agriculture education, technology and rural development for foreign aid. CAU has made good cooperation with many African high-level education institutions. Combining the foreign aid education program, we established the AfriCAU, China- Africa experts network. We conscientiously implement the “China-Africa University 20+20 Projects”, and also established the “one-to-one” inter-school cooperation model. Our works have got positive feedback for both our and African governments.

By the state funding, CAU focuses on strengthening academic level. There are more than 810 person-time participating in exchange programs every year. We recruit international intelligence to improve academic level. School’s annual funding for foreign experts grows, and every year there are more than 820 person-time visit of foreign experts.

CAU cares a lot about the education of international students. So far, there are 381 international students from 72 countries in campus. Meanwhile, relying on the advantage of academics, CAU set up professional projects in English. So far, more than 300 courses are taught in English, including agronomy and rural development, to meet the need of both domestic and international students.
