International college Beijing (ICB) was established by China Agricultural University in 1995. The establishment of ICB was aim to explore and develop various forms of international education. At present, CAU has three international collaboration programmes, including CAU-University of Colorado programme (subjects: Economics and Communication) and CAU-Oklahoma State University programme (subject: Agricultural and forestry economy management: Agricultural commerce direction). All above three subjects take full-English teaching pattern and the course arrangements and teaching methods are all connected with foreign universities. By now, there are more than 1500 students studying in those three programmes.

CAU-University of Colorado undergraduate programme is held by China Agricultural University and University of Colorado, which is one of the earliest collaboration programmes in China. CAU-University of Colorado undergraduate programme contains two subjects: economics and communication. Students, who get enough credits and have the qualification of graduation, can get bachelor degree from both China Agricultural University and University of Colorado. Up till now, more than 85% graduates chose to study further and schools they were enrolled contains: Columbia University, Duke University, Northwest University and Cornell University etc.

CAU-Oklahoma State University programme (subject: Agricultural and forestry economy management: Agricultural commerce direction) is the only collaboration programme in this subject area in China. This programme was approved by the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China in 2012. Students, who get enough credits and have the qualification of graduation, can get Bachelor of Science Agricultural and forestry economy management from China Agricultural University and Bachelor of Science of Natural Resources from Oklahoma State University. This major aims to cultivate advanced high-class people who fully understand the development law of large-scale modernizing agricultural businesses; people who have knowledge of enterprise operation management and marketing; people who know familiarly about Agricultural and forestry economy management’s current state and development trend; people who have international view and who can work for government and enterprises as functions of management and operation.
